He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Edward "Bud" Allen; his grandmother Pugh Meadows; his sister Anne Augustine; his stepmother Pauline Meadows; his wife Betty Meadows; his children, Dave Meadows (Amy) and Tracye Rushing (Steven); his sisters, Dolores Stinson, Dana Carlisle, Judy Hooker (Harry) and Joan Gildorf (Michael); and his grandchildren, Peyton and Walker Rushing.
