He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pearson and Helen Vines Pearson; and his close friends, Scarlett Pearson (Raines) and Randall. He is survived by: his wife Scarlett Raines; his daughter Ashten Jennings (Morgan); his mother-in-law Virgina Raines; and his nephews, Kevin Raines (Sarah) and Eric Raines (Chasity).
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family has asked that a charitable donation be made to St. Jude's Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, or Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church's cemetery fund.
