She was predeceased by: her father Dewey; her husband John Burleson; and her siblings, Paul, Jim Peters, Willie Davis and Margie Campbell.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Whaley, Cindy Hall (Larry), David Street (Kelly) and Jeffrey Street; and her sisters, Carolyn Copas and Loretta Deloach. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
