He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Herron and Ella Mae Martin; and his siblings, Bill Herron, Alice Snowden and Alma Sue Whitlock.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Herron, Jeff Herron and Kathleen Herron; his grandsons, Kyle Barnum, Nicholas Goodwin, Keenan'Red'Barnum, Jacob Herron and Kurt Barnum; and also Iris Herron.
