She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hartzell Swartz and Betty Jane Saylor Swartz; her sister Evelyn Swartz Hale; and her grandparents, Burke, Myrtle Saylor, Don and Maude Swartz.
She is survived by: her husband Chris Hawkins; her daughters, Brianna Hawkins and Cierra Hawkins; and her siblings, Gary Swartz (Valerie) and Trish Laws (Chet). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Home (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Monte Vista Memorial Park (1900 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601).
