With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Tallent in Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Tallent to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Broadus Sessoms and Adelene Lackey Sessoms; her daughter Catherine Hope Taylor (Alfred W. Taylor); and her siblings, John B. Sessoms, Jr., Henry M. Sessoms, Bradford Kent Sessoms and Eska Garrison (Phyllis Holmes).
She is survived by: her husband Alfred W. Taylor of Milligan College; her sons, Alfred Alexander (Alec) and John Sessoms Taylor (Connie); and her sister-in-law Tammy Sessoms. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
