We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2022, at the age of 75, Michael Scott Teets of Jefferson City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Teets and Marie Teets; his parents-in-law, Hancell (Jake) and Mildred Teets; his sister-in-law Judy Kepple; and his nephew John Shepherd.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon T. Teets; his brother-in-law Ronald Kepple of Shepherdstown, WV; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Shepherd (Don) of Evergreen, Martha Reish (Merlin) of Dayton and Mark Teets (LaDeana) of Aurora, WV.; and his nieces and nephews, Mark Kepple (Lisa), Jill Kepple Lutz (Andy), Thomas Teets (Jennifer), Lindsey Teets (Rebecca), Andrew Shepherd (Alta Curtis), Stephen Shepherd (Kate Reitz), Elizabeth Shepherd (Dan Mathew), Lynn Keegan, Micah Reish (Dayna), Marilyn Reish (Chad Hellwinckel) and Matthew Reish (Ilsa Cooke).
Because of the rare nature of PSP, Michael has donated his brain for research and PSP diagnosis confirmation to the Mayo Clinic Brain Bank in Jacksonsville, FL.
