He is survived by: his wife Alta Ruth Whitaker; his daughter Vickie Jordan; his son-in-law David Jordan, Jr.; his grandchildren, Dr. David Jordan III (Mary Jordan), Chelsea Jordan and Nate "Charles" Jordan; his siblings, Jessie Skeen and Roland Whitaker (Wilma); and his aunt Bonnie Whitaker.
