She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Nelson and Ethel Mae Howard Nelson; her husband Sam Casteel; and her brother Charles Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Tony Casteel (Marlene), Doris C. Williams (Arthur) and Lisa C. Moon (Michael); and her siblings, Jerry Nelson (Betty), Tommy Nelson and Margaret Bolton (Kenneth). She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Martin Boyd Christian Home or Hospice of Chattanooga.
