He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradford Layne and Lora Lee Hargis Layne. He is survived by: his wife Erma; his son Marshall; his mother-in-law Geneva Brookman; his sister Jan (Jerry Payne); and his nieces, Lora and Deanna.
