He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Matthew and Bertha Mae Wells (Davis); and his sister Carol Snider Rose Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Hettie Darlene Wells; and his son Jared Wells (Kaci Hounshell).

The Family has requested NO FLOWERS. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
