He was predeceased by: his parents, William Payne and Mabel Payne; his brother Don Payne; and his granddaughter Shelby Payne. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Payne; his children, Roger Payne Jr. (Tammy) of LaFollette and Melissa Witt (Mike) of LaFollette; his grandchildren, Jonathan Witt, Elizabeth Long (Brandon), Mackenzie and Madison Payne; and his great grandchild LolaBeth Long.
