It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Lay of Jacksboro, Tennessee, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Lay and Ethel Lay (Byrge); and his daughter Kathy Ann Parks. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Tootsie" Lay (Huckaby) of Jacksboro; his son Lewis Lynn Lay of Jacksboro; his grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Parks (Jackie) of Charleston and Peyton Parks; his son-in-law Jimmy Tate Parks of Jacksboro; and his siblings, Ronnie Lay (Patricia) of Jacksboro, Donald Lay (Peggy) of Jacksboro, Wayne Lay (Nora) of Caryville, Linda Barnes (Roger) of Jacksboro and Gloria Bell Copper (Johnny) of Maynardville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.
