She was predeceased by: her husband J. B. Taylor; her parents, James Carl Gibson and Idessa McCullah Powell; and her siblings, Anna Gibson Arnspiger, Lois Gibson Ridenour and Jeptha Allen Gibson.
She is survived by: her son John Taylor (Jennifer); her grandson Barton Taylor; her sisters, Joie Gibson Leavitt, Dr. Rita Gibson Patterson, Trena Smiddy (Ed) and Sandie Gibson; and her siblings-in-law, Cynthia Taylor, Sharon Finch (Bob) and David Taylor. She is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
It was Laura's request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to LaFollette Church of God Missions, c/o LaFollette Church of God, 1906 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette, TN 37766.
