He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Cookson and Bonita Ann LeLorme Cookson; and his siblings, Phyllis Heyn, Patricia Warrington, Charity Rhodes and James Frank.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Cookson of Paris, TN, Amy Cookson of Paris, TN and Andrew Cooper (Shandi) of Paris, TN; his grandchildren, Bentlee Cruz Cookson, Greyson Allen Cooper, Oliver Riley Cooper, Keighley Rose Cooper and Amillea Leilani Rosalie Tharpe; and his siblings, Susan Pogue (Randall) of Ohio, David Cookson (Pulom) of California, Timothy Cookson of St. Hellen, MI and Thomas Cookson (Janice) of Michigan.
