He was predeceased by: his parents, Onnie Simpson and Olivia Simpson; and his brother Claude Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Simpson; his children, Greta Hensley (Darrell) of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Allen Simpson of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Todd Simpson (Michelle) of Huntingdon, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Morgan Williams (Shaun), Tyler Simpson, Kaitlin Schofield (Logan), Austin Sampson, Samuel Hensley and Katie Simpson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
