He was predeceased by: his former wife Phyllis Strong Lusk; his mother Geneva Buckner Ingram; his stepfather Judge Joe M. Ingram; his father William Peyton Lusk; and his brother William Andrew Lusk.

He is survived by: his fiancé Dale Spear; his sons, Kevin Lusk of Ringgold, GA and Eric Lusk (Ashley) of Murfreesboro, TN; and his grandchildren, Chandler Lusk, Lindee Lusk, Drew Lusk and Sarah Claire Lusk.
