It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice Jean Sedgwick of Hixson, Tennessee, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sister Jane Ellen; and her children, Elizabeth Ann Van Vliet (Philip), Charles K. Sedgwick (Miryam), Alison Brooke Sedgwick and L. Thompson Sedgwick (Kacey). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
