She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Newton Wright and Eugenia Jones "Miss Tad" Wright; her husband Jim Porter "J. P." Hill; her daughter-in-law Patricia Hill; her granddaughter Kathryn Elizabeth Hill; and her sister Nancy Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hill of Henry and Chad Hill of Mt. Juliet; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Charles, James Hill, Brandon, Carey Parker and Genny O'Dell. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
