He is survived by: his children, Margaret Bates of McKenzie, TN and Tommy Bates (Shannon) of Paris, TN; his stepdaughter Patricia Robison (Terence) of Paris, TN; his grandchildren, Alanta Harris, Ashley Bates, Devin Robison and Makayla Hill; his great grandchildren, Kota Staggs, Mya Staggs, Ryder Staggs and Bryson Staggs; and his siblings, Sue Baker of Gleason, TN and Glen Watson (Brenda) of Atwood, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
