He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Jones and Ruth Hinsley Jones; his half-brother Ted McWhirter; and his grandson Mark Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Martha Herbert Jones; his children, Alan Jones (Debbie) and Lorie Jones; his brother Bobby Jones (Melanie); his granddaughters, Julie Jones Hopkins (Heath), Heather Jones Bolinger (Ryan), Tiffanie Jones, Jessica Rice Byrd (Brent) and Jennifer Stephens; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Hopkins, John Hopkins, Hazel Hopkins, Jack Hopkins, Jensen Bolinger, Grey Bolinger, Dylan Byrd and Gunner Byrd.
