It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Stackhouse of Hendersonville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gory Coleman and Ethel Coleman; her siblings, David Dean Coleman, Deward Coleman and Virginia Schultz; and her grandson Christopher Stackhouse.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Stackhouse; her children, Michael Stackhouse (Teresa), Rebecca Reed (Ted) and Susan Neltner (Larry); her grandchildren, Christina Sams (Todd), Heather Bumgarner (Greg), Daniel Reed (Cathy), David Reed (Madeline), Caitlin Elsea (Zakk), Harrison Reed, Michelle Brewster (Kiel), Virginia Stackhouse, Jeanette Thayer, Tim Jacob and Jena Norrod (Nik); and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Madison, Tye, Macie, Greyson, Nya, Silas, Tison, Samantha, Jacob, Solomon, Noah, Felicity, Emelia, Henry, Michael, Jolene, Maire, John Carl, Ellie, Michaela and Olivia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ is Love in Shirley's honor.
