He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Penn; and his stepdaughters, Kimberly Welch and Susan Testerman. He is survived by: his son Sean Penn; his granddaughters, Elaine, Natalie, Diane and Jane; and his stepchildren, Kathy Nelson, Kelly Lindner, Bo Chase and Tammy Jarmon.
