He was predeceased by: his parents, David Andrew and Maude E. Allred (Hill); his brother Jimmy Wayne Allred; his sister-in-law Reba Allred (Tidmore); his brother Paul Allred; his granddaughter Sawyer Kate Allred; and his siblings, Melonia Tidwell and John David Allred.
He is survived by: his brother Robert T. Allred (Ronnie); his brother-in-law Everett Tidwell; his children, Edward, Jr. (Melinda) and Janet (David Carr) of Nashville; his grandsons, Mathew Brooking (Jennifer), Sean Allred (Kendall) and David Andrew Carr (Grace Hannoy); and his great grandchildren, Violet, Cooper Brooking and Everett Mim Allred. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
