It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Lawson of Helenwood, Tennessee, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lawson and Rosa Lawson (West); and his siblings, Daniel Lawson, Frankie Harness, Debbie Loretta Lawson and Nella Jean Day.
He is survived by: his children, Austin Eugene Lawson (Alana), Debbie Lawson (Jonathan), William "Doogie" Lawson and Michael Taylor; his grandchildren, Alyssa "Rosebud" Watts, Lealand Crabtree, Jazzlyn Upchurch and Johnathan Upchurch; his siblings, Dewayne Lawson (Jennifer), Donna Kay Wright, Delisa Howe (Lee) and Mattie Lou Harness (Tony); and his sister-in-law Kristy Lawson. He is also survived by family members and friends.
