He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Walter L. Wilson; his mother-in-law Ruth Jeffers; his son Wayne Wilson; his grandsons, Eric Wilson and Chad Miller; his brothers, William H. Wilson (Delphie), Hubert Wilson (Wilma), Walter Wilson Jr. (Lillie) and Lee Wilson (Louise); his niece Tina Wilson Bratt; his nephews, Danny Wilson, Ray Wilson and Louie Wilson; his brother-in-law David Jeffers; and his son-in-law Paul Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Mae Wilson; his daughter Dee-Dee Sharp (Jackson); his granddaughter Myah Sharp; his brother Gene Wilson (Elizabeth); and his friend Kaleb Layne. He is also survived by several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives.
