He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Thomas Everett and Mary Belle Tuggle Everett. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jones Everett; his sons, Glenn Everett (Leigh Anne) and Brad Everett (Jean); his grandchildren, Matthew, Mason, McKane, Rebecca and Lila Everett; and his siblings, Tommy Everett (Kaye), John Everett (Karen), David Everett (Sheila) and Cecelia Rodenbaugh (Dan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
