He was predeceased by: his parents, Etta Mae Oaks and Thomas Irick; his wife Judith Smith Irick; his son Carl Irick; and his siblings, Vesta Bowman, Norma Dugger, Jack and B. Irick.
He is survived by: his sister Lois Morrell of Piney Flats, TN; his children, Jay L Irick of Mountain City, TN, Tedi Birchfield, Bart Irick of Roan Mountain, TN, Teri Webb of Rogersville, TN and Christy Robinson of Sweetwater, TN.; his grandchildren, TJ, Jeffery Lunsford, Ryan Campbell, Dakota, Leann Presnell, John Birchfield, Jessie Robinson, Toni, Alexandra and Liam Irick; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, McKinzie, Abie, Logan Lunsford and Carla Sanchez.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
