He was predeceased by: his siblings, Danzel Ford, Terry Ford, John Wesley Ford, Jr. and Barbara Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Betty Rose Hinkle Ford; his siblings, Jerry Ford (Ginger), Guy Ford (Sue) and Sylvia Lewis; his niece Della Sue Proffitt; his nephew Johnny Proffitt; and his child West Faris Road of Greenville, SC.
