He is survived by: his wife Wanda Akers; his children, Susie Munsey (Ronnie) of Knoxville and Scott Colby Akers of Virginia; his grandchildren, Kimberly Poore (Andrew) and Kamaryn Collins; his great grandchildren, Avery Grace Poore, Olivia Reese Poore and Eden Kate Poore; and his pets, Polly Anna, Ringo and Sunny.
