It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Roberts (Hampton, Tennessee), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Hampton Roberts; her children, Hampton David Roberts, Jr. and Alfreda Ann Davis; and her mother Clara Holloway. She is survived by: her children, Maxwell Roberts (Thesseleaner), Matthew Roberts (Willie), Danny Roberts, Wilma Upshur, Jeanette Stegall (Johnny), Geneva Maffett (Joe Nathan Maffett, Sr.) and Jo Ann Montgomery. She is also survived by 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
