It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avanell Arnett (Hampton, Tennessee), who passed away on November 19, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parent Lydia Miller Woodby; her daughters, Johnnie Slagle (Doug) and Elizabethton (Linda Arnett); her grandchildren, Chris Perry and Melanie Hartley; her great grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Perry of Ladson, S. C.; and her siblings, Alma Phillips (Clarence Phillips), Alvin Woodby of Hampton, Dennis Woodby of Hampton, Ken Woodby of Hampton, Conley Woodby of Hampton and Van Woodby.
