He was predeceased by: his wife Charlene Larson Berry; and his parents, Pauline Crocker Berry and Harvel Berry. He is survived by: his children, DeOnza Berry Chappell, Dirk Berry, Sheri Berry Herndon (Steve), Rose Berry Melton (Mark) and Paul Joseph Berry; his sister Kathryn Berry Powers; his stepchildren, Paul Joseph Harper, Marie Graves and Costa Karras; and his grandchildren, Jared Herndon, Shayn Herndon, Nicole Melton Wallace, Chase Melton, Jessica Betts and Michael Chappell. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
