He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Carlton and Frances Norwood. He is survived by: his wife Doris Carlton of Greenfield; his children, James Carlton (Charlotte), Chuck Carlton (Pam), Mark Carlton (Glenda), Glee Carlton of Greenfield and Deanean (Hal) of Atwood, TN.; his brother Joe (Myra) of Milan; and also, Smith of Atwood, TN. and Simmons of Milan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
