He was predeceased by: his parents, W. E. Essary and Rebecca Norwood; and his brother Edsel Essary. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Essary of Greenfield; and his children, Bradley Essary (Lisa), Corry Essary (Eva), Christy Webb (Steve) and Cherie Wallace (Phillip). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
