He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Brotherton; his stepson Johnnie Day; his parents, Lee Brotherton and Mamie Brotherton; and his brothers, Charles Brotherton and Bobby Brotherton.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Reedy; his grandchildren, Ricky, Pamela Reedy of Mohawk, Angela and Adam Jarrett of Telford; his sister Alice Cowan of Portland, Oregon; his great grandchildren, Hunter Reedy, Brayden Reedy, Caitlin Lawson (Mackenzie), Jairus Norton, Laken Reedy, Briar Reedy, Bryson Jarrett, Carson Jarrett, Kennah Nelson and Ridge Day; his great great grandchildren, Ryan Lawson and Bella Powers; his close friends, Marty Ricker, Jerry and Juanita Boles; and also, Eric, Jan Kiker, Chance, Yarkiza Moncier, Derek, Jamie and Paisley Casteel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
