It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Everette Gass of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Gass and Kathleen Gass; his great grandchild Lydia Gentry; and his brother Timmy Gass. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gass; his children, Matonya (Donnie Brown), Teneka MacKenzie, Jamey (Carliss Gass) and Vonozsa Gass; his grandchildren, Summer Salyer, Derrick Salyer, Chellsea, William Schlotman, Tristyn MacKenzie, Austin Gass, Kirsten Gass, Eli Gass, Renee Gass, Kensleigh Gass, Gage Gass and Reese Gass; his great grandchildren, Scarlett Gentry, Brixon Gentry and Haylenn Schlotman; and his sisters, Wanda Davis and Carolyn Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
