It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George J. Gunter Sr. in Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Gunter; and his daughter Jody Lee Gunter. He is survived by: his children, Ellen Crum (Bobby), Beatrice McGowan, Jeff Gunter and Dewayne McGowan; and his grandchildren, Dylan Gunter, Amy Wallace and Stanley Roberts (Champ). He is also survived by great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
