She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Davis and Leon Davis; her niece Whitney Lowe; and her parents-in-law, Robert and Leda Mae Jeffers.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Jeffers; her children, Andrea Hill, Chuck and Mary Jo Jeffers; her grandchildren, Mason Hill (Madison Marion), Rebecca (Curtis Lambert) and Melanie Jeffers; her great grandchild Adira; her sister Judy Kitzmiller (Derrick); her niece Amanda (David Whittiker); her great-niece Khloe Whittiker; her great-nephew Kristopher Hilton; her aunt Azalee Grindstaff; her uncle Henard Myers; her cousin Billy Joe Brown; her siblings-in-law, Don and Doris Jeffers; and her nephew Keith Jeffers. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.

Gail was a staunch supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital, therefore the family asks that those who prefer to make memorial donations, please consider St. Jude's.
