She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dale Hoobler Smith and Erline Elkins Smith; her husband David Kennedy Thompson of Greeneville; her sons, Dale Thompson (Shannon Miller) and Vincent Thompson (Leyla Cruz); her grandson Zachary Thompson; her aunts, Cora Elkins and Aline Reed; her pet Sadie; and also, Alta Cunningham and Freddie Smith.
