He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Hall and Culton Hall; and his wife Joann Dulaney Hall. He is survived by: his grandson L. Fred; his children, Sheila Wandell (Ken), Jeff Hall (Lee Anne), Steve Hall (Mary Ann) and Joe Hall; his grandchildren, Emily Wandell Klaren, Justin Wandell, Doug Hall, Sam Hall, Sophie Hall, Troy Hall, Drew Hall, Luke Hall, Jake Hall, Nick Hall and Mack Hall; his great grandchildren, Hadlynn Klaren, Augusta Klaren, Langston Klaren and Lindon Klaren; his brother Raymond S. Hall (Judy); and his nephew Pat Farrell.
