She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayden Lee Adams and Eula Mae Herald Adams; her husband James John Phillips; her siblings, Georgia Belle Gaines, Vera Adams, Mattie Mae Adams, Vernon Ventress Adams, Gilbert Lee Adams, Julian Lee Adams, Franklin Adams and J. C. Adams; and her grandsons, Joey Phillips and Steven Dwayne Winfrey.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Brooks of Greenbrier, TN, James Ray Phillips of Greenbrier, TN and Walter Randall Phillips (Kim); and her grandchildren, Tamatha Gaddis, Jeffrey Brown, Justin Phillips, Mary Ozanne, Pattie Hatcher, Jamie Phillips, Jessie Phillips, Valerie Phillips and Mark Phillips. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
