She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Austin, Jr. and Naomi Grace Pugh Goss; her son David Michael "Mike" Sones; her brother Amos Austin Goss, III; and her grandson Hunter.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Evan Sones; her children, Lori Howell (Eric) of Greensboro, NC, Kat Sones of Grand Valley, Loralei Sones-Morgan of Grand Valley, Ted Sones (Linda) of Bartlett, Marc Sones (Karen) of Olive Branch and Ricky Sones (Tracy) of Bassett, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Steven Sones, Nicole Roman, Robert Morgan, Joey Morgan, Matthew Sones and Sarah Durham (Andrew Sones). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
