She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Larry Corder; her parents, Alvis Johnson and Edna Shires Johnson; and her siblings, Lavelle Byrd, Thomas Johnson and Jimmy Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Katie Gholson of Memphis, Colleen Petty (Beau) of Middleton, Wesley Corder (Joyce) of Spokane, WA and Timothy Corder (Cas Bezanson) of Tucson, AZ; and her siblings, Wilma Goode of Collierville, Joyce Taylor of Covington, Zadie Ferrell of Covington, Maxine Cranford of Brighton and Richard Johnson (Carolyn) of Millington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
