He was predeceased by: his father Bill Irby. He is survived by: his wife Connie Irby; his children, Will Irby and Gracie Johnson (Kenny); his grandchildren, Ellie Johnson, Collins Johnson and Charlotte Irby; and his sisters, Debbie Dafferner (Russell), Susan McConnell and Deanne Wade (Maury, III).

Memorials may be made to Hope Church Memphis, Young Life Memphis, or Neighborhood Christian Center.
