He was predeceased by: his father Walter Heilener; his wife Janice Dona Heilener; his sister Ruth; his brother-in-law Paul George; and his son-in-law Alan Schnitkey.
He is survived by: his daughter Beth Schnitkey; his sister Lorraine Knicl (Bob); his granddaughter Alaina Adams (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Riley Emerson and Peyton Avery.
