He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Robinson and Elizabeth "Tige" Dillahunty Robinson; and his wife Bonnie Robinson. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Robinson McDearman (Robert) of Little Rock, AR and Chris Robinson of Germantown, TN; his brother Bill Robinson of Paris, TN; and his grandchildren, Thomas McDearman and Annaleigh Robinson.
