He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard L. Dunagin Sr. and Stella W. Dunagin; and his siblings, Millard L. Dunagin Jr., Milton "Mickey" Ray Dunagin and Otsie L. Ivey.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy P. Dunagin (Dot). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pineview Baptist Church, Laurel or Gideons International.
