He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Mitchell and Dona Dailey Goolsby; his grandsons, Jason and Casey Goolsby; his sons-in-law, Ray Dailey and Audney Keith; and his siblings, Rosa Lee, Lizzie Dee, Fred, Ed, Lawrence, Leland, Ralph, Earl and Elmer Goolsby.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Goolsby of Celina; his children, Bill Goolsby (Linda) of Gainesboro, Dan Goolsby of Celina, Betty Dailey of Celina, Barbara West of Livingston and Sharon Keith of Gainesboro; his siblings, Benton Goolsby (Pauline) of Gainesboro and Earlene Pennington (Estus) of Celina; and his close friend Troy Stafford. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
