He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Whad Haney and Lizzie Jane Chaffin Haney; his son Dale Haney; and his siblings, Gene Haney, Hulon Haney, Bobby Haney, Louise Vickers and Doylene Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Haney of Gainesboro, TN; his daughters, Debbie Wilson (David) of Bloomington Springs, TN and Denise Martin (David) of Gainesboro, TN; his siblings, David "Cobb" Haney of Gainesboro, TN, Ida Wheeler (Colonel) of Cookeville, TN and Meadows of Bloomington Springs, TN; his grandchildren, Jayson Haney, Amy Polston and Alyson Duke (Paul); his great grandchildren, Carter Haney of Cookeville, TN and Bryson Haney of Cookeville, TN; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Flatt and Thurel Flatt.
